In order to ensure sufficient capacity at the venue (and sufficient food!) we would kindly request that attendance be limited to those invited, including any specified plus ones and children.

This is confirmed on your wedding invitation. We will be having a small intimate ceremony/ registry with those guests requested to arrive at 13:30, whilst the majority of guests should arrive by 14:30 for the main celebration. Night guests are welcome to arrive from 19:00.

Yes there is parking available on site.

The celebration will take place entirely within the ground floor of Thornton Manor, there is a small step into the main entrance of the building and any assistance needed can be provided.

The majority of the day will take place within the Manor, however we will certainly be looking to take advantage of its extensive grounds if the weather is good to us for certain elements of the day.

Not beyond traditional wedding attire.

Feel free to snap away but as well be having a professional photographer would be grateful if you could hold off posting any of the grooms until we’ve done so.

We have reached out to guests and have now confirmed those with specific dietary requirements. If you have not confirmed we will require this information no later than 3 weeks in advance of the wedding.

The night will be wrapped up at 1am with ‘last orders’ being around half an hour to 15 minutes prior. Whilst we do not expect anything of anyone, and are grateful for your attendance, if anyone is wishing to provide a ‘gift’, we wouldn’t turn down any help towards our honeymoon!
